Women's Ministires at Mayberry:

Welcome to Women’s Ministries at Mayberry! We are a small group of women dedicated to serving our Lord by studying his Word, praying together, serving each other and our community, and reaching out to others with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The CGWM (Churches of God Women’s Ministries) at Mayberry meets monthly for devotions and planning of activities of service. We are involved in many special events such as the Sweetheart Breakfast in February (served by our men), presenting the Sunrise Service, Tithing Service, and Thank Offering Service. We provide refreshments whenever needed, support a child in Ethiopia, give to our conference love offering, prepare boxes for shut-ins at Christmas, prepare gifts for the nursing home, support missionaries with finances and letters of encouragement, contribute to the Vacation Bible School ministries in July and support our youth quiz teams. We are presently studying the book Women of the Bible: Examples to Live By.

Mayberry CGWM monthly meetings are usually held on either the first Wednesday or Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at the church. A typical meeting includes devotions, snacks, a relaxed business session and sharing times.
